Contagion is directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Scott Z. Burns. The project was announced in February 2010 with the news that Matt Damon and Jude Law were cast in Contagion in their first collaboration since The Talented Mr. Ripley in 1999.Kate Winslet and Marion Cotillard joined the cast later in the month. Soderbergh received cooperation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and also worked with a group of scientific advisers for the film. With a production budget of $60 million, filming began on September 25, 2010 and was initially scheduled to last until January 11, 2011. Filming locations included Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dubai, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Russia, and Malaysia.In Hong Kong, filming took place at the Hong Kong International Airport. By February of 2011, Contagion was being filmed in San Francisco at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and other locations.

Contagion follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. As the virus spreads around the world, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.

The film was directed by James Wan, a Malaysian-born who already work in Hollyeood since 2000. One of his works is the famous Saw in 2004. Saw presents a story filled with surprise, horror and sadism. Insidious While the story was written by Leigh Whannel. He also wrote the story in the film Saw. So in this film they reunited to create scenes and stories very surprising.

Insidious tells the story of a family who had recently moved house. Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai Lambert (Rose Byrne) has two sons, Foster (Andrew Astor) and Dalton (Ty Simpkins). Their new house a large and comfortable, but the weirdness for weirdness began they have experienced since occupied the house. From listening to the sounds creepy, seeing the mysterious shadows, down to things that are increasingly extreme and intense. Moreover, all of a sudden their youngest son, Dalton, falls, and coma. Valerie plans to run away with Peter, but their plans are put on hold when the town's church bells ring, telling the couple that the Wolf who terrorizes their village has struck again. Valerie also learns that Cesaire is unaware of this.

The townspeople decide to celebrate the death of the wolf, but their festivities are interrupted by the arrival of famous witch hunter Father Solomon (Gary Oldman). He reveals that the townspeople did not kill the real Wolf because, if they had, it would have changed back into its human form, meaning that the beast is a werewolf. The townspeople decide to continue the celebration but, once again, the festivities are interrupted; this time, however, by the arrival of the real Wolf. It is revealed that those bitten by the Wolf during the week of a blood moon shall receive the curse as well. Valerie and her friend Roxanne (Shauna Kain) are cornered by the Wolf while attempting to get to the Church, which, as a holy ground, is considered a place of safety. The Wolf then begins speaking to Valerie in growls that she can understand, much to her surprise. The two arrive back at the village to find that one of Father Solomon's guards, though still alive, has been bitten by the Wolf. Despite protest from the guard's brother, Father Solomon kills the guard in an attempt to save the town from another werewolf.

The film is very simple, very simple and very minimal budget. There is only one main character, one place and one case. The film is just a kind of business life from someone who is buried in a coffin and buried alive. But the simplicity of ideas and the story does not mean the film is not spectacular and thrilling. Just when the audience is forced to focus on the tension by the tension of the work done the main actor in the escape from death, which confine him in a coffin in the ground.
